Occupational Safety And Health: Carbon Dioxide Levels

Carbon dioxide levels are a good indication of how adequate the ventilation is in a workplace. Elevated levels of carbon dioxide may lead to drowsiness, headaches or lower levels of activity. They may also be an indication that other more harmful substances are building up.

Applied Research Services can measure carbon dioxide, along with temperature and humidity to give information on how well ventilated and comfortable your work environment is.

For more information about carbon dioxide and its effects on health refer to our Technical Bulletin 51 – Carbon Dioxide Fact Sheet
